Role Purpose:
- Ensure the effective and efficient improvement in Quality, Productivity, on time delivery and cost reduction. While effectively Managing different facets of the operations functions i.e. Facilities, Integrated management systems (IMS), CIP & Maintenance to support the company site as a whole.
Environmental, Safety & Health
- Direct responsibility for the Health, Safety and Environment of all employees who either directly work in your area of control, or who visit the operational areas you are responsible for either internal or external visitors. Including full legal & company compliance in areas under your responsibility.
- Develop a positive safety culture through the company Behavioural Safety Program
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate all staff to achieve best performance possible.
- Maintain the required operational processes in line with the integrated SAP system.
- Leading and developing suitable staff, based on Company objectives.
- To train personal in all aspects of productivity improvements.
- To manage and motivate cost reduction programme.
- Ensure the effective running and management of Manufacture, Production and MRP Control
- Budgeting of department costs
- To create an environment which is conductive to achieving maximise staff engagement through the various tools and requirements set out from HR
