Currently working as the Head of Engineering and Innovation as well as serving as the Operations Manager for a sustainable waste management company for just over 6 months with a particular focus on production efficiency improvement and process design and management of innovative projects.
- Project managed over 7 projects including a generator and decanter centrifuge installation. Led other projects during the development and execution phases including that of council submissions and new feedstock processing designs.

that specializes in turning waste into resources such as Biofuels.

Worked as a Candidate Engineer for just under two years focusing mostly on optimization projects and various new product developments.
- Focused on reducing losses in the cheese manufacturing and packaging leg of the company. This required intensive studies into the cheese manufacturing, brining and maturation process.
? Various suggestions were made to reduce product giveaways of which some were implemented, saving the company 12.7 million rand per annum on product giveaways.
? Reduced losses by 76% on a particular process.
- Aided in the design and execution of a new product launch requiring a capital investment of over 31.2 million rand. This specific design involved in-line blending of five liquid streams to produce the product, removing the need for a large mixing plant.
- Assisted from a process perspective during the
commissioning of a milk pasteurizer.
- Investigated multiple new product ideas, including the
physical design of the various components and the
integration of the new processes into the existing plants.
- Co-ordinated with vendors to identify and procure
appropriate equipment necessary for project completion.
- Evaluated production activities and provided suggestions for
quality and operational improvements and cost control.
